Great road-trip stop. Food is typical diner with some mexican thrown in. Fun experience. From the front it looks like a drive-in only, but go to the left side and there is a door into the diner that is situated behind the drive-in. The fries are fresh-cut, home-made and delicious. The tacos and quesadillas were yummy. We would definitely drop in here again!

Went with family last night. Ordered separate. Got our food right away, but the frys were cold. Waited half an hour for the food for the other people we were with and went up. Told the girl and she claimed the receipt paper ran out and waited another 20 for the food. Not worth it even if the chocolate milk is addicting.

Love everything there. Great selection of ice cream and they give u the right amount for the price. Good is also good there. Strongly recommend this place

Great in the summer, but recently visited and not so great. Service was slow, about half of the people behind the counter and in the cooking area appeared to be doing much of anything, and I felt like I was an inconvenience rather than a valued customer. Add to that the fact that their signage was not current (they didn't have some of the items shown, and said that they would not until later in the spring for some of it), and the visit was definitely not what I expected.

I love this place! It has some of the best ice cream around with soft serve options you can only find here! The soft serve is made from their own dairy cows as is their milk. Now when I say milk I am not talking about some white milk here! Chocolate and strawberry milk here folks, and it is some of the best stuff around! I get at least 3 bottles of each for home, each of my daughters can kill a whole bottle of the strawberry milk in less than an hour if we let them!! If you have never been here I suggest you go!

This place is great for the entire family as the ice cream cones hhuge as we found the sandwiches are a bit high. Sunday night they have old cars

Because Hoover's is located in a little town, the customer service is always warm and welcoming. Everyone always has a smiling face, and you can still get your milk in glass bottles here! The ice cream is delicious and so is the food! Highly recommended!!

Cash only but they have an ATM. Huge portions. Lots of parking and seating. Counter serve for lunch. table serve for dinner. They also have milk in glass bottles. We love the chocolate kind.

Good fish on friday and good food through out the week. Also fishfry dinner on fridays come with an ice cream dessert, which is really good. Many choices of perrys ice creams.

Great value for your money. The breakfast buffet was really good. I enjoyed the fish fry, loved that the ice cream was included in the price of a meal. I'll definitely be back here often.

Went to Hoover's for dinner today. The food and service was excellent. We got the chicken fingers and fries. The fingers were huge and we both had enough for our lunch. Can't wait for there eggnog. We will Surely be back.

This family business is wonderful!! I get my milk delivered every week and it is always so tasty! They are extremely nice people, I would definitely recommend!!

Great sub and thickess chocolate milk I have ever had!

Ordered a chicken finger sub and a side of mac and cheese. They can make your food anyway you like it, with different cheese and sauce options. It was absolutely fantastic!! So much food for a great price. Portion sizes are large! The mac and cheese is in a tie for first place with Panera's. Everyone was super friendly. A family sitting behind me was from a different state, visiting family for the holiday, and they said they always stop here for dinner while their in town!

Went to the Sunday night car show. The food and ice cream are top notch and the car show brings in many people. I will return next Sunday for more of the same.

Absolutely AMAZING!! Ordered a cheeseburger and fries. I have to say it was 100 times better then Ted's. They offer a huge variety of ice cream flavors and options. Very friendly service.

Fried food is never good. Nonetheless, I was hoping this would be delicious. On the contrary, there was NO flavor at all, completely flavorless. I spent over $12 on a square fish sandwich, and french fries. Outrageous prices. The fish sandwich was $7, and the fries were $4.50. A waste of money, except that I was hungry out in Timbuktu.

Great place for lunch, glad we came across it. Reading all the reviews it seems that Hoovers is locally owned and operated #eatlocal. Went with their 4oz steakhouse burger, they offer an 8oz, but the 4oz was plenty. Fresh mushrooms, steak-sauce, cheese, and wonderful homemade onion rings. The order of sweet potato fries was huge so order accordingly. Save room for dessert, that's code for fresh, wonderful ice cream.

This is a mini banana split! Amazing!
